KAJU MUTTER CURRY
Ingredients:
- 1 cup green peas
- 1 cup cashew nut
- 1/2 onion chopped
- 1 large onion
- 2-3 tomatoes
- 2 spon butter
- 1tspn oil
- 1-2 spon ginger garlic paste
- 1 spon chilly powder
- 1 spon garam masala
- 1/4th spon turmeric
- 1 spon Cumin powder
- 2 spon coriander powder
- 3/4 spon pepper powder
- 1 spon cinnamon powder
- 3-4 cloves ground
- 2 bay leaves powdered
- 3-4 pods cardamon ground/crushed
- 1 spon kasuri methi
- 3 spon cream
- coriander leaves to garnish
- salt to taste
- 1/2 spon sugar
Procedure:
- Grind onion and tomato into fine paste and keep aside
- Heat oil in a pan and add butter and ginger garlic paste and fry for 2 min
- Now add chopped onion and fry till translucent
- Now add Onion and tomato paste and allow to boil on low flame (close the lid for 5-7 min)
- Once the colour changes add all the powders and kasuri methi(crushed)
- Add salt and sugar
- Add green peas and cashew nut and allow to cook(add water if necessary)
- Add cream and mix and extra 1 spon of butter
- Now add coriander leaves for garnishing and serve with bread, naan, roti etc.
